Below you will find the top five items to have in your wardrobe, a manual to basics you could say.
Of course item number one on our list was going to be a classic pair of killer pumps. Every girl needs a pair of go to shoes that complete every outfit. A perfect example are the Christian Louboutin Pigalle heels. Yes they are pricey but when you are looking for a classic wardrobe piece for your wardrobe it is wise to invest in a good quality item as you can be sure that it will serve you for a long time and by all means be worth the splurge.
I recommend black pumps or nude ones. Or even better, why not get both pairs?
Now this one was a bit of a given item number two that you need in your wardrobe are some basic tee’s. Take it from me, you can never have too many plain tee’s in your collection. This is coming from the girl with 5 of the same black and white tee’s on her rail but it’s okay as they are an essential right?
Leather trousers have to take place in my top five, no matter what. There is no way I would be able to live without my trusty leathers. Especially for those last minute outfits. Now I know not everyone is a fan of wearing leather trousers so if you are one of them then white jeans are the one for you especially for summer.
Sunglasses, the most essential accessory. Sunglasses are the perfect way to finish of your look and add a chic and mysterious touch. Wither you are wearing them to cover your bags or just to add a statement, you can never have too many pairs. I will soon be doing a sunglasses edit so keep an eye out for my top picks to suit your face shape.
One thing worth to mention – with sunglasses it is better to go for a smaller quantity but higher quality, so think twice before making your purchases.
The final item that you need to add to your wardrobe is a pencil skirt. Seriously, what kind of wardrobe would it be without a pencil skirt? You are free to dress it up or dress it down to male both formal and casual ensembles. There are plenty of ways to style this wardrobe stable so it is a timeless piece. Did I forget to mention you are spoilt for choice, choose any colour or texture as well as any possible cut.
Is there anything I missed? Or do you agree with the basic closet manual?
